At least 345 families in 13 municipalities of the Province of Bohol were evacuated in view of the expected impact of Tropical Depression Verbena.

TD Verbena brought intense rain that poured the entire night on November 24, 2025 in Bohol.

TD Verbena made its second landfall in the Municipality of Jagna past 11 p.m. 

Classes in all levels in the province have remained suspended due to the weather disturbance.

A few areas in Bohol also experienced flooding.

Among these areas were Barangays Loreto, Cortes, and Tupaz in the Municipality of Antequera.

A house owned by the Coquilla family was flooded. It was learned that the family has evacuated prior to the flooding.

“Dili hangin. Tubig, daghang tubig kay kusog ang uwan. Maoy nakakuwaan to, nagbaha siya tungod sa tubig...,” Pacifica Coquilla, owner of the house, said.

Meanwhile, a fire that broke out amid the rain gutted four houses in Tagbilaran City.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection-Tagbilaran City, the fire occurred at around 3 a.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 in Purok 4, Gasanai Village, Barangay Cogon.

Initial investigation rendered that a charged laptop could have caused possibly the fire.

The incident left behind damages worth approximately P400,000.
