The Kahublagan Kontra Kurapsyon (KKK) expects a bigger Trillion Peso March in Iloilo City on Sunday, November 30, 2025 in time for the 162nd birth anniversary of Filipino revolutionary and hero, Gat Andres Bonifacio, Supremo of the Katipunan.

The group will converge at two points in Iloilo City – in front of the Jaro Metropolitan Cathedral and below the flyover in front of the University of the Philippines Visayas Iloilo City campus at the city proper.

From the said areas, participants will march toward the Iloilo Provincial Capitol Grounds.

“Doon may mga musikero tayo, may mga Ilonggo na musikero na mag-e-entertain sa inyo. At the same time, sa pamamagitan ng kanilang mga kanta, itataas rin ang ating social consciousness,” according to Msgr. Meliton Oso, director of the Jaro Archdiocesan Social Action Center.

On September 21, 2025, the group staged its first Trillion Peso March as a protest to widespread corruption in government, especially on the anomalous flood control projects.

Oso said that the march is open to other groups who share in their sentiment.

“May mga nakipag-usap sa akin at ang hiling ko lang, lahat nang sangkot, dapat managot. Period,” Oso added.

Police Regional Office (PRO) 6 is already on alert. Various units under PRO 6 are also prepared to keep protest actions peaceful and orderly, including assurance that areas where rallies would be staged will be free from sabotage by any sinister group.

“Part naman yan ng security measures ng ating tactical units,” said Major Lailyn Sencil, PRO 6 spokesperson.
