A 43-year-old businessman was shot dead in Barangay Miranda, Babak District, Samal Island, Davao del Norte morning on Monday, December 1, 2025.
Based on investigation, the victim was attending to a customer in his shop when the suspect appeared and shot him in the head before fleeing.
The gunman was reportedly wearing a full-face helmet, a black sweatshirt, and brown jogger pants. He was described as slim and about five feet five inches tall.
Police said the suspect used a motorcycle as a getaway vehicle.
Authorities are still investigating the incident to identify the perpetrator and determine the motive.
Investigators also urged those who have knowledge about the incident to come forward and coordinate with authorities.
