The presentation took place on November 26, 2025 in Malacañang Palace.
BSP is set to launch the 10-Piso ASEAN coin in January 2026 to underscore the active role of the Philippines in shaping the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the region's future.
The relief, or effigy, of revolutionary leader Apolinario Mabini remains on the obverse of the 10-Piso ASEAN coin.
On its reverse side, the coin depicts the design of ASEAN Leadership and Unity and a Quick Response (QR) code, or a device-readable code.
