Porac, Pampanga Mayor Jaime Capil has surrendered to the Pasig Regional Trial Court on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, to post bail of ₱630,000 for seven counts of graft.

Capil arrived at the court with his lawyers. He assured the public that he is not hiding and follows the law. He added that he will return to work at the municipal hall on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.

The court has set the arraignment and pre-trial for Capil’s case on December 11.

The arrest warrant against Capil was issued on November 28, 2025, by the same court. He faces charges for allegedly approving the business permit of Lucky South 99 despite issues in its documents.

The Office of the Ombudsman previously suspended and later dismissed him for supposed neglect linked to the unchecked operations of an illegal POGO. Capil has repeatedly denied involvement, insisting he did not protect any POGO activity.
