Tropical Depression #WilmaPH has accelerated slightly as it crossed Samar morning on Sunday, December 7, 2025, according to PAGASA.
PAGASA said Wilma will likely remain a tropical depression during its inland passage, though the surge of the northeast monsoon makes an earlier weakening into a low-pressure area possible.
• Intensity: Maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 75 km/h, and central pressure of 1004 hPa
• Present Movement: West northwestward at 15 km/h
• Extent of Tropical Cyclone Winds: Strong winds extend outwards up to 150 km from the center
