A brawl ensued between two contingents of a festival in Roxas City, Capiz. Six persons were reported to have sustained minor injuries. Two of them are persons of minor ages.

According to the police, the brawl stemmed from miscommunication between Tribu Daga and Tribu Pamilyahanon, participants to the “Sadsad ng Sinadya Festival 2025.”

The incident happened at the Roxas City Public Plaza evening on December 6, 2025.

A member punched allegedly a participant from the other group that started the fracas.

The individuals involved were not taken into police custody, but are set to be summoned.

Meanwhile, a commotion ensued during the Christmas Lights Switch-On ceremony in Bugasong, Antique on December 6. Juveniles were involved reportedly in the commotion.

Iyon ang dahilan ng habulan nila,” Captain Alfonso Precia, officer in charge of Bugasong Muncipal Police Station, said.

No one was injured in the incident.

The persons involved agreed to an amicable settlement.

It was learned that they are residents of Valderrama, Antique.
