Families in eight local government units (LGUs) of Cebu, whose houses were totally damaged in the wake of Typhoon Tino, will receive financial assistance worth P10,000.

Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) 7 Director Shalaine Marie Lucero confirmed on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 of emergency cash transfer to eight LGUs that bear the brunt of Typhoon Tino.

These LGUs are Talisay City, Cebu City, Mandaue City, Danao City, and the Municipalities of Balamban, Consolacion, Liloan, and Compostela.

The financial assistance will be for families with totally damaged houses, Lucero said. The distribution is set on December 11 to 13, 2025.

As of posting time, there are no details yet for the schedule on families with partially damaged houses.
