The construction of the Maa flyover in Davao City is expected to be completed before the end of December 2025, according to the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA).
MinDA chairperson, Secretary Leo Tereso Magno, said the flyover’s main structure is already finished.
Workers are only finalizing the flyover’s approach, installation of concrete railings, and other safety features.
MinDA said the project is vital in improving traffic flow and enhancing the city’s economic activity.
The P1.4 billion project is under the ‘Build, Build, Build’ program of former President Rodrigo Duterte.
According to the Department of Public Works and Highways, the project had experienced delays due to road right-of-way issues.
