Two bus drivers and a conductor have tested positive for illegal drug use during a surprise drug test at the Davao City Overland Transport Terminal morning on Thursday, December 18, 2025.
According to a report by GMA Super Radyo Davao, Yuri Lim, head of the Regional Enforcement Section of the Land Transportation Office-Davao (LTO-11), said the drivers who tested positive underwent profiling.
Authorities confiscated their driver’s licenses and copies of the bus registration and franchise.
They will also be given five days to appear before LTO-11 to submit their explanations while awaiting the results of the confirmatory tests.
More than 100 drivers and conductors underwent the drug test, which is part of the Oplan Biyaheng Ayos: Pasko 2025.
