The Police Regional Office-Northern Mindanao (PRO-10) has fielded nearly 500 personnel to reinforce the more than 4,000 police officers deployed earlier to secure the region during the holidays.

The augmented personnel were deployed to the provincial and city police offices and municipal and city police stations.

They will be assigned to strategic areas to strengthen police visibility and intensify security operations.

Among these areas are churches, malls, terminals, and other places of convergence.

“This strategic deployment enables us to strategically calibrate our manpower to address the increased security requirements during the holiday season. By reinforcing our lower units, we enhance our operational readiness, strengthen our presence on the ground, and ensure a safe, secure, and peaceful celebration for the people of Northern Mindanao,” PRO-10 Director, Brigadier General Christopher Abrahano, said.
