The local government of Davao City has turned over 32 new patrol cars and three response vehicles to the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) on Friday, December 19, 2025.

The city also distributed nearly 600 reflectorized raincoats to DCPO personnel.

The vehicles, worth nearly P76 million, will be given to 19 police stations, the DCPO SWAT Team, Cybercrime Unit, and other police units.

The additional resources are intended to strengthen operational capability in the fight against criminality and improve police response to emergency calls in the city.

Following this, PCOL MUARIP expressed his gratitude and assurance:

“The DCPO will always be grateful for the City’s unwavering support. These resources will greatly enhance our operational capability and allow us to respond more effectively to the needs of our community. Rest assured that the DCPO will maximize these assets to strengthen police visibility, improve mobility, and ensure the safety and security of our people,” DCPO Director, Col. Mannan Muarip, said.
