Authorities arrested seized more than P7 million worth of suspected shabu in three separate anti-illegal drug operations in Northern Mindanao.

Operatives of the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit (RPDEU-10) arrested a 35-year-old woman identified as alias “Madam,” in a sting operation in Barangay Camaman-an, Cagayan de Oro City on December 19, 2025.

Police said the suspect has a live-in partner who was reportedly arrested previously for illegal drugs involvement.

Authorities added that she is known to have been operating in Libona, Bukidnon and nearby areas. Her cohort, the brother of her live-in partner, remains at large.

Seized during the operation were sachets of suspected shabu worth around P6.8 million.

On the same day, the City Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a separate buy-bust operation in Barangay Nazareth, which resulted in the arrest of two cousins identified as alias “Rolly,” 30, and alias “Berto,” 18,

Police said the two suspects were identified as sources of illegal drugs in the area.

Confiscated from the suspects were sachets of suspected shabu worth around P170,000 and drug paraphernalia.

Meanwhile, police served a search warrant in Barangay Bagong Silang, Iligan City the next day, December 20, which resulted in the arrest of a government employee identified alias “Geloy,” 31.

Police said Geloy was identified as a source of illegal drugs operating in the barangay and nearby areas.

Authorities recovered several sachets of suspected shabu worth around P408,000 and drug paraphernalia.

All suspects arrested in the three operations are now detained and will face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act (RA 9165).

“These successive operations highlight PRO10’s relentless campaign against illegal drugs. The seizure of a large volume of narcotics and the arrest of multiple offenders send a strong message that we will continue to intensify our operations to protect our communities and uphold public safety across Northern Mindanao,” Police Regional Office (PRO-10) Director, Brigadier General Christopher Abrahano, said.
