Contractor Sarah Discaya has filed an urgent motion before the Lapu-Lapu City Regional Trial Court (RTC) to remain under the custody of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
The court also ordered the Ombudsman in the Visayas and NBI to comment within 10 days, said a GMA News Online report on Monday, December 22, 2025.
Discaya is also requesting attendance in hearings via video conferencing.
Meanwhile, the eight other officials of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) are also requesting to be under the custody of NBI Davao.
