Up to 420 new police officers in the Davao Region have taken their oath.

Police Regional Director-Davao (PRO-10) director, Brigadier General Leon Victor Rosete, administered the oath and welcomed the new police personnel to the organization on December 22, 2025.

Of the 420 new recruits, 400 patrolmen and patrolwomen were appointed under the attrition quota while 20 patrolmen and patrolwomen under the regular quota were assigned to the Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit (RACU) to help strengthen the region’s cybercrime response.

During the ceremony, Rosete reminded the new police personnel that the oath they took signified a commitment to serve the public with integrity, discipline, and compassion.

Rosete also underscored the importance of respect for human rights and public trust.

The region’s top cop urged the new police recruits to remain professional, accountable, and committed to excellence as they serve in the field.
