A man died while 11 others were injured in a collision involving an Elf truck, a bus, and a motorcycle in Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay dawn on Friday, December 26, 2025.

Based on investigation, the Elf truck loaded with fish was traveling to Ipil from Zamboanga City while the bus and the motorcycle were coming from the opposite direction.

Upon reaching the place of incident in Barangay Buluan, the truck allegedly encroached into the opposite lane and crashed head-on with the bus.

The motorcycle rider who was tailing the bus reportedly lost control of the vehicle and rammed into the rear of the bus.

Due to the impact, the driver of the truck was trapped inside the vehicle and died on the spot while his two companions were injured.

Meanwhile, the driver of the bus and six passengers, as well as the motorcycle rider and his companion, also sustained injuries.

Investigation into the incident continues.
