A 27-year-old woman died after she was run over by a bus following a crash involving a motorcycle she was riding and a van on the Davao Coastal Road in Davao City evening on Tuesday, December 30, 2025.
According to a report by GMA Super Radyo Davao, the motorcycle, the van, and the bus were traveling in the same direction toward Talomo Cemento when the incident happened.
A witness said the motorcycle crashed into the rear of the van, which had stopped but had its hazard lights on at that time.
Due to the impact, the woman who was riding in pillion on the motorcycle was thrown into the adjacent lane and was run over by the bus.
The woman’s 37-year-old husband, who was driving the motorcycle, sustained injuries.
The van driver had fled the area while the bus driver was taken into police custody.
