Huge waves and strong winds destroyed at least 30 houses.

The surge destroyed government infrastructure worth approximately P820,000.
Further, heavy rainfall inundated areas in Boracay Island, affecting commercial establishments.
According to Aklan Provincial DRRMO, the flooding subsided after an hour.
The PDRRMO added that the drainage system is functional but because of the amount of rainfall, areas in Boracay were flooded.

Authorities received reports on destroyed seawall projects.

State weather bureau PAGASA said that the heavy rainfall was due to the shear line.
