The owner of a pickup truck that went viral online after a female driver brandished a firearm on Hayes Capt. Vicente Roa corner Hayes Street in Cagayan de Oro City appeared before the Land Transportation Office-Northern Mindanao (LTO-10) afternoon on Monday, January 5, 2026.
The driver, however, did not show up.
Accompanied by his lawyer, the vehicle owner whose registered address is Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon met with LTO-10 Director Nelson Manaloto along with chiefs from the Law Enforcement Section and Traffic Adjudication Board.
LTO-10 said the owner failed to provide sufficient explanation as to why the driver was not present during the hearing.
GMA Regional TV One Mindanao tried to reach out to the owner, but his lawyer refused to allow him to speak, citing an ongoing investigation.
According to the LTO-10 Traffic Adjudication Board, it will review the written explanation submitted by the vehicle owner and will issue a resolution on the case in due time.
It can be recalled that LTO-10 has issued a show cause order against the registered owner and the female driver after a video went viral online showing the driver pulling out a gun and allegedly waiving a dirty finger toward motorists on December 29, 2025.
