A rider was killed after he crashed into another motorcycle and hit by a pickup truck in Barangay Ilang, Davao City on Tuesday, January 6, 2026.

According to a report by GMA Super Radyo Davao, the victim identified as alias “Dodong” by the Traffic Enforcement Unit was a resident of Barangay Bunawan.

Based on investigation, the victim and the pickup truck were both on the inner lanes and were traveling in opposite directions.

Upon reaching the place of incident, the victim crashed into another motorcycle after he reportedly did not notice it coming from Amparo Street.

Because of the impact, the victim was thrown into the opposite lane where he was hit by the pickup truck.

The victim sustained serious injuries and did not reach the hospital alive.

The rider of the other motorcycle and the driver of the pickup truck were taken into police custody after the incident.

The family of the rider who died and the pickup driver reportedly reached an agreement.
