A woman was shot dead inside her house in Barangay Bantacan, New Bataan, Davao de Oro evening on Wednesday, January 14, 2026.
According to a report by GMA Super Radyo Davao, police identified the victim as alias “Emilda.”
Based on investigation, the suspect may have fired the gun through the kitchen wall made of bamboo.
Authorities are still investigating the incident to identify the assailant and determine the motive.
Police also urged those who have knowledge about the incident to come forward and coordinate with authorities.
