A showcase of faith, culture, and tradition marked the celebration of the Feast of Señor Sto. Niño in Barangay Bula, General Santos City on Thursday, January 15, 2026.
The celebration began with a fluvial procession where the image of Señor Sto. Niño was carried aboard an amphibian boat and paraded across the city’s coastal waters.
Several devotees were also seen following the image in fishing boats.
The festivities grew livelier with the 20th Isda-Isadaan Festival, an open street dancing competition participated by four contingents from the city and a nearby province.
The dance movements, costumes, and music highlighted the importance of the fishing culture of the coastal barangay and deep devotion to Sto. Niño.
Performances of the festival queen of every contingent also drew attention.
Catholic faithful also flocked to the Sto. Niño Bula Parish to attend Mass and have their images of the Sto.
This year marks the 48th Parochial Fiesta of Señor Sto. Niño in Barangay Bula.
Tight security was implemented to ensure the safety of attendees.
