A woman was arrested for allegedly exploiting her own children sexually online in Barangay Tambacan, Iligan City on Thursday, January 15, 2026.

Police said the suspect identified as alias “Jen” was arrested during the entrapment operation after she allegedly offered her one-year-old son online for sexual exploitation.

During the operation, six victims – a 25-year-old woman, a two-year-old girl, five boys one, four, and six years old, and a two-year-old child-at-risk – were rescued

According to the Iligan City Police Office (ICPO) Task Force Against Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC), two of the victims are children of the suspect while the rest are children of the suspect’s friend.

Authorities also seized several digital devices, which yielded positive results for the possession of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Materials (CSAEM).

The children rescued were turned over to the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) for assessment and intervention.

The suspect was taken into police custody and will face charges.

“The ICPO reiterates its strong commitment to protecting children from abuse and exploitation and calls on the public to remain vigilant and to report any suspected cases of online child exploitation to the proper authorities,” the task force said.
