Motorists started paying higher toll fees on the North Luzon Expressway starting Tuesday, January 20, 2026, after regulators approved a new rate increase.

The Toll Regulatory Board approved the hike to ensure the continued operation, maintenance, and improvement of services on the expressway, according to NLEX Corporation.

Under the open system from Balintawak to Marilao, Bulacan, toll fees rose to ₱85 for Class 1 vehicles such as cars and SUVs. Class 2 vehicles, including buses and small trucks, now pay ₱211, while Class 3 vehicles like large and container trucks pay ₱254.

For end-to-end trips from Balintawak to Sta. Ines in Mabalacat, Pampanga, toll fees increased to ₱440 for Class 1 vehicles. Class 2 vehicles now pay ₱1,099, and Class 3 vehicles pay ₱1,319.
