Police arrested two men wanted for the alleged rape of a minor in Angeles City, Pampanga, more than 16 years after the case was filed.
Authorities said they arrested the suspects at a construction site in Barangay Cuayan, where they were working.
The two men were accused of raping a victim who was 17 years old at the time of the incident. In 2010, the Angeles Regional Trial Court issued warrants of arrest against them with no recommended bail.
The suspects now face 26 counts of rape and are under the custody of Angeles City Police Station 5.
They declined to give a statement.
