Police in Calasiao, Pangasinan seized suspected shabu worth more than P400,000 in two separate buy-bust operations, arresting three suspects as authorities stepped up their campaign against illegal drugs in the town.

In the first operation, police arrested a 35-year-old man in Barangay Buenlag on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. Officers recovered more than 35 grams of suspected shabu from the suspect, with an estimated value of over P230,000, police said.

A second operation on Thursday, January 29, led to the arrest of a 49-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man in Barangay San Miguel. Authorities seized more than 27 grams of suspected shabu worth over P180,000, according to police.

The three suspects are facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Police said they were brought to court on Friday, January 30, for inquest proceedings, but had yet to issue statements.

Casabar urged drug users to seek help through local authorities instead of engaging in illegal activities.

Meron tayong community rehabilitation,” he said.
