A runway at Camiguin Airport has been closed temporarily due to flooding caused by Tropical Storm #BasyangPH, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) on Friday, February 6, 2026.

CAAP said the Runway 07/25 was closed after the adjacent creek overflowed and caused flooding following heavy rains.

CAAP added that the Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) is effective from 9:52 a.m. on February 6, 2026, until 4 p.m. on February 7.

Because of the closure, flights DG6695 and DG6696 have been canceled, which affected up to 67 passengers.

Meanwhile, CAAP said it is closely monitoring airport operations across the country amid the ongoing weather disturbance.

According to CAAP, no damage to airport facilities has been reported, as of this writing, while water and power supply at the passenger terminal buildings are fully available, and personnel remain on standby to respond to any emergencies.
