Tropical Depression (TD) Basyang has made a second landfall over Bohol on Friday, February 6, 2026. 

The first landfall was in Bayabas, Surigao del Sur at 11:50 p.m. on Thursday, February 5.

As of 1 p.m. on February 6, the center of TD Basyang was estimated based on all available data in the vicinity of Bilar, Bohol (9.6°N, 124.1°E), according to PAGASA's 2 p.m. weather advisory on February 6. 

Intensity: Maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 75 km/h, and central pressure of 1002 hPa

Present Movement: West northwestward at 20 km/h

Extent of Tropical Cyclone Winds: Strong winds extend outwards up to 330 km from the center.
