Tropical Depression Basyang (international name: Penha) made a third landfall in Dauis, Bohol at 4 p.m. on Friday, February 6, 2026, said Benison Estareja, weather specialist, in DOST-PAGASA's 5 p.m. advisory.
Basyang, as a tropical storm, made landfall first in Bayabas, Surigao del Sur at 11:50 p.m. on February 5, and a second landfall in Jagnâ, Bohol as a tropical depression at 11 a.m. on February 6.
TD Basyang will traverse Cebu and Negros Island until evening of February 6, and will emerge over Panay Gulf early morning on February 7 as a Low Pressure Area, Estareja added.
