A 42-year-old man wanted for murder cases in General Santos City was arrested in Lanao Ganassi, Lanao del Sur on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.

According to the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), the suspect identified as alias “Boli” was arrested in a manhunt operation by virtue of six warrants of arrest – four for murder cases and two counts of violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act (RA 9165) – issued by a court in General Santos City in 2021, 2023, and 2025.

CIDG said after the arrest warrants were issued, the suspect left General Santos City and reportedly hid in Lanao del Sur.

Authorities added that the suspect was listed as most wanted person in the country with a P425,000 reward for his arrest.

“With the arrest, the Unit significantly helped the victims and their families attain the justice they deserved. The CIDG assures the public that it is steadfast in enforcing all the laws, and relentless in tracking and capturing all criminals, wanted persons and fugitives - across the country,” CIDG said.
