According to the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP), power transmission services to parts of Maguindanao del Norte, Maguindanao del Sur, Cotabato, and Special Geographic Areas of Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (SGA-BARMM) were restored fully at 3:14 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.

NGCP said the the Kibawe-Sultan Kudarat 138kV TL has been re-energized at 2:58 p.m. after emergency corrective works were completed.

Earlier, NGCP announced that power interruptions were extended due to additional technical problems on site while personnel were conducting final inspections at towers nearby after repairing Towers 46 and 47.

NGCP said the power interruption, which started around 12:16 p.m. on Tuesday, was caused by a cut conductor between Tower 46 and 47 in Barangay Dalingaoen, Pikit, Cotabato, affecting the Kibawe-Sultan Kudarat 138kV Line.

The whole coverage area of Cotabato Light and Power Company (CLPC), Cotabato Electric Cooperative Inc. -PPalma (COTELCO-PPALMA), and Capiton and Simuay Substations of Maguindanao Electric Cooperative, Inc. (MAGELCO) were affected.

NGCP has set the estimated restoration time for the power supply at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
