At least 736,776 persons or 196,249 families have been affected by the shear line in Mindanao, according to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
In its report as of 6 p.m. on Sunday, the DSWD said the weather disturbance affected 464 barangays across Davao Region and Caraga.
Of the total affected population, 122,689 persons or 31,424 families have been displaced.
A total of 19,940 persons or 5,629 families were staying in evacuation centers while 102,749 persons or 25,795 families were staying in other places.
The DSWD said a total of 64 houses were damaged, 41 partially and 23 totally.
Humanitarian assistance worth P44,803,449 has been provided to the victims so far, according to the DSWD.
As of Sunday, the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) reported eight individuals have died due to the effects of a shear line in Davao Region.
