The Cordova Police in Cebu have identified the four male teenagers caught in a video in a drag race along Centennial Road.

Cordova Mayor Cesar (Didoy) Suan summoned the teenagers in the video, along with their parents, in his office on Sunday, February 22, 2026.

A netizen caught the teenagers in a video racing on board motorcycles on February 17, 2026, at 10:52 p.m.

Three motorcycles are owned by the teenagers’ parents, while one is registered to the uncle of one of them.

After the video was posted on social media, Cordova Police traced that the teenagers are all residents of Cordova.

One of them is 15 years old, two are aged 16 years old, while one who is already 18 years old does not have a driver’s license.

In an earlier interview by GMA Regional TV Balitang Bisdak with Atty. Vince Santiago, officer in charge of the Operations Division, and legal officer of Land Transportation Office (LTO) 7, he said that aside from not granting them driver’s license (once the three reach their legal age), the registered owners of motorcycles will also take accountability for the incident.

The Local Government Unit of Cordova has declared the Centennnial Road as a discipline zone. However, the teenagers engaged in a race, while three of them performed a “Superman” stunt.

Cordova Police, headed by Police Major John Khalev Sanchez, underscored that they are not remiss with their duties.

Sanchez said they conduct regular roving on Centennial Road, at the roro [roll-on, roll-off] port, and other areas in the municipality where juveniles tend to gather nightly.

Aside from the stringent implementation of curfew hours, Sanchez also said that they will implement strictly the anti-noise pollution law.
