Workers in the private sector in the Davao region are set to receive an increase in their minimum daily wage starting March 13, 2026.

This after the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board-Davao (RTWPB-11) issued a new wage order granting an increase of P30 per day to the non-agriculture sector and P20 to the agriculture sector.

RTWPB-11 said the increase will be given in two tranches.

The first tranche of increase of P15 for the non-agriculture sector and P10 for the agriculture sector will take effect on March 13, 2026, while the second tranche will be given on September 1, 2026.

Once the two tranches are implemented, the new daily minimum wage rate for workers in the non-agriculture sector will now be P540 from P510. Those in the agriculture sector will now get P525 from P505.

Meanwhile, kasambahay or domestic workers in the region will also get an increase of P500 for chartered cities and first-class municipalities and P1,500 for other municipalities starting March 13, 2026, bringing their monthly salary to P6,500.
