A woman allegedly doused a mango vendor with a bucket of dog urine during a heated altercation over property boundaries in Barangay 35, Cagayan de Oro City.

A video circulating online shows the confrontation between the woman identified as alias “Kaye” and the vendor identified as Michelle Cuyme.

Other neighbors intervened later to stop the fight.

According to witnesses, the physical fight began when Kaye allegedly splashed dog urine on Cuyme while she was arranging her mangoes for sale by the road.

Cuyme claimed that the altercation started when Kaye confronted her about placing mangoes near her property.

“Pag-abot niya, ingon siya unsa mana ngano nag-atang-atang mana diha ana siya, kuhaa na diha, kuhaa wala lang gyud ko murag nagpatibungol lang ko kay wala naman na ako naman ni diri. Pagsulod diay niya kay nagkuha man diay siya ug arinola diretso niya kabya,” Cuyme said.

While the exact moment of dousing dog urine was not captured on video, Kaye reportedly admitted to the act.

Kaye said she became angry after warning Cuyme repeatedly not to sort or arrange mangoes in front of her house.

Kaye said that on November 18, 2025, they reached an agreement before the barangay chairman that Cuyme would no longer sort mangoes near her property because she always ended up cleaning the leftover waste.

“Nag pirma naman November 18, 2025 with the kapitan nga dili na siya mag-segregate sa iyang mango sa akong tungod. Karong February 28, first time naa na sad siya nagbutang na sad siya diha… daghan gud… wa ko nakaagi kay hapon man… ingon ko, naa na pud ka ha… nagsabot na baya ta sa barangay. I gave her a warning,” Kaye added.

“Actually, ako man ang na-offend kay dako siyag lawas, iya ko gilabay sa manga, iya ko gi-attack… na-momo ko diha… look at my knees, look at my body… there’s a lot of bruises in my body,” Kaye added.

However, Cuyme denied the allegations and maintained that she did not attack Kaye, saying she only defended herself.

The complaint was brought before barangay authorities, and both parties are expected to attend a mediation meeting in the coming days.

Cuyme also said she plans to seek compensation for the mangoes that were allegedly damaged during the incident.

“Ang ako na lang sa iya kung mo bayad siya sa barangay diha rami sa barangay di ko gusto ug samok ug dili siya mobayad maaghat gyud tingali ko kay murag natumban niya akong katungod,” Cuyme said.
