Deep anger must have led to the killing of a man whose body was found by the road in Barangay Pahanocoy, Bacolod City.

This is the assessment of the police on the remains of Wilton Borda.

Eugene Rebadomia, Officer-in-Charge of the Bacolod City Police Office.

Borda’s mother, Lanie, said his son’s body was riddled with wounds - in his palms, neck, and chest. His hands were also tied.

The victim’s brother-in-law, Archie, said Borda did not have any police record.

“Mabait siyang tao. Wala siyang record dito,” said Archie, the victim’s brother-in-law.

Authorities recovered the victim’s mobile phone but found nothing in it that could help in the investigation.

Borda’s family continues to hope that justice will be served.

Borda left behind three small children.
