Four people died when a wing van collided with a motorcycle in the mountain barangay of Busay in Cebu City afternoon on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.

Initial information gathered by GMA Regional TV Balitang Bisdak showed that the wing van was traveling downhill when it swerved to the other lane and hit the motorcycle that was traveling uphill.

The incident happened at past 2 p.m.

The three people riding the motorcycle died — a 60-year-old woman and her two nephews, one of whom was driving the vehicle.

The motorcycle got trapped beneath the truck.

The driver of the wing van and his right hand were brought to the hospital but the driver passed away later.

It was also learned that the woman and her nephews were on their way to Babag 2, another mountain barangay in Cebu City. They had come from the city proper where the woman claimed money from a loan. One of her nieces was driving the motorcycle when they met the accident.
