Anti-narcotics agents seized packs of suspected shabu worth around P95 million at the Lipata Port in Surigao City morning on Saturday, March 14, 2026.
Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Caraga (PDEA-13) and other law enforcement units intercepted a shipment and arrested an alleged drug courier during the operation.
PDEA-13 identified the suspect as a 23-year-old resident of Napindan, Taguig City.
Confiscated from the suspect were at least 14 packs of suspected shabu weighing around 14 kilos and worth more than P95 million.
Authorities also recovered a pickup truck, a mobile phone, and a tire allegedly used to conceal the illegal drugs.
The suspect is now detained and will face charges for alleged violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act (Ra 9165).
