A man was arrested for allegedly robbing a medical laboratory and a driving school in Davao City on Sunday, April 12, 2026.
According to the Davao City Police Office (DCPO), police officers responded immediately after receiving information about the robbery incident along Quimpo Boulevard.
When the operating team arrived, they reportedly caught the suspect, identified as alias “Russel,” exiting one establishment and attempting to enter another establishment forcibly by breaking a glass door.
Operatives arrested the suspect immediately and recovered from him a backpack containing a blender and money.
The suspect is now detained and will face robbery charges.
“This incident clearly demonstrates that crime prevention is a shared responsibility. The vigilance and prompt reporting of our citizens, combined with the rapid and professional response of our police officers, are key factors in maintaining peace and order in our city,” DCPO Director, Col. Peter Madria, said.
