There are no fake anti-rabies vaccines being sold in Tagbilaran City in Bohol, the local government said.

City Administrator Alvin Acuzar said all vaccines sold at pharmacies in the city have complete documents.

"Wala tay nakita nga presensya sa mga fake vaccine sa atoang mga farmacia dinhi sa Tagbilaran ilabi na ang mga inila nga farmacia diri sa atoang Tagbilaran City. Atong ihatag sa publiko ang kumpiyansa nga atoang city government wala nagpasagad ug nagdayon kita nga magprotekahan ang pamilyang Tagbilaranons,” he said.

Mayor Jane Yap ordered the investigation after information circulated that fake anti-rabies vaccines are being sold in the city.

A composite team was formed composed of representatives of the City Health Office, Food and Drug Administration, Department of Health, Philippine National Police, National Bureau of Investigation, and other regulatory and law enforcement agencies.
