An 18-year-old senior high school student wanted for allegedly raping a minor was arrested in Davao City on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.
The suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant for three counts of qualified rape of a minor and two counts of acts of lasciviousness.
The warrant was issued by the Regional Trial Court on April 21, 2026. The court did not allow the suspect to post bail for qualified rape charges while bail for the acts of lasciviousness cases was set at P180,000.
Authorities tagged the suspect as the number one most wanted person in the city.
