A lending company collector was shot dead in Parang, Maguindanao del Norte morning on Thursday, May 14, 2026.
According to the Police Regional Office-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (PRO-BAR), the victim was reportedly on his way to Barangay Polloc on board his motorcycle when he was attacked by two suspects upon reaching Barangay Sarmiento.
The motorcycle-riding assailants fled after the incident.
Police said the victims sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
Authorities are investigating the incident to identify the perpetrators and determine the motive.
