Vice President Sara Duterte’s regional political group, Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP), has joined the Reform Alliance for Accountability, Good Governance, and Ethics (RAGE) coalition.

After its launch in Luzon and Visayas, RAGE coalition expanded its presence to Mindanao and welcomed HNP.

The Vice President was not around during the activity but an HNP representative attended on her behalf.

The coalition’s lead convenor, Davao City Mayor Sebastian Duterte, together with former House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez of Partido Reporma and former Congressman Mike Defensor of Reform PH, signed a memorandum of agreement with HNP, represented by Davao del Norte Board Member Al David Uy, and MILF United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP), represented by Pahamuddin SGA-BARMM Mayor Yasser Ebrahim.

The coalition continues to push its advocacy against corruption and misuse of public funds, a slow economy, threats to democratic institutions, and abuse of government power. They also promote transparency, accountability, and responsive leadership.

“Tayo ay kikilos na para kay VP Inday Sara Duterte. Tayong lahat nandito dahil hindi tayo susuko. At hinding hindi natin tatanggapin ang ginagawa ng administrasyon ngayon. So, sisimulan na natin ngayon palang na mailagay natin si VP Inday Sara Duterte sa 2028 bilang Pangulo ng Pilipinas,” Mayor Duterte said.

In his message, the Davao City mayor slammed the current administration, alleging a resurgence of corruption and criminality compared to the previous Duterte presidency.

He also denounced what he described as a suppression of critics, likening it to martial law without formal declaration.

“You know tama si Mike, this is not even a silent Martial Law. It is Martial Law without declaring it formally. Ang dami ng nakukulong, may mga kaso and for what because they opposed the actions of the administration, why is that so wrong,” he said.
