Authorities are on a hunt for two individuals caught on camera doing stunts on board their motorcycles at the airport in Kabankalan City in Negros Occidental.

The two are now the subject of an investigation by the Land Transportation Office in Negros Island Region.

“Kung titingnan mo, nag-superman (stunt) sila. Nag-i-exhibition sila, nagda-drag racing sila. That’s why, iimbestigahan natin sila because of videos na sinend sa atin. We hope to identify ang mga involved,” said Jeck Conlu, Office-in-charge of LTO-NIR.

The LTO has been furnished a copy of the video taken at the runway of the domestic airport in Kabankalan City.

LTO said what the two men did was very dangerous and could cause accidents.

“Parang hindi ito first time… I’ll try to meet with the LGU. This is very dangerous. We do not consider ourselves na expert tayo,” Conlu added.

The LGU is yet to respond to a request for comment from GMA Regional TV Balitang Bisdak.

It was in 2007 when construction of the domestic airport started but work was stalled due to lack of budget.
