A 40-year-old woman was shot dead near a public market in Barangay Bulalo, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte.
Authorities identified the victim as a resident of Barangay Macaguiling.
Based on investigation, the victim was walking in the area when she was shot in the head by an unidentified assailant.
Investigators are looking into robbery as possible motive since the victim was reportedly carrying a large amount of cash that went missing.
The money allegedly came from the proceeds of a house that was sold before she was killed.
Authorities are still investigating the incident to identify the perpetrator.
