A 33-year-old man was injured after he was shot by his 28-year-old friend in Cebu City for allegedly asking for a share of the suspect's earnings from an online game.
Investigation showed that the incident on Sunday, July 19, 2026, was when the suspect's patience reached its peak. The suspect said the victim had been asking for a share of his earnings from an online game repeatedly.
That day, the suspect won P500 and the victim reportedly asked for P50.
The suspect refused to give, which led to a confrontation and an exchange of punches.
Angry, the suspect pulled a gun out, eventually, and shot the victim in the arm.
The suspect was arrested and is facing frustrated homicide charges.
Authorities identified the victim as alias “Cris” while the suspect was identified as alias “Roma,” both residents of Barangay Inayawan.
