Three people, including a three-year-old boy, died in a road crash involving a motorcycle and a private car in Maramag, Bukidnon.
Based on investigation, the motorcycle was about to make a turn in Barangay Panadtalan when it was hit suddenly by a speeding vehicle traveling behind it.
The impact threw the 33-year-old rider and his three-year-old son nearly 15 meters away from their motorcycle. They sustained severe injuries and died in in the hospital.
A passenger of the private vehicle also died due to injuries sustained in the crash.
The driver of the private vehicle reportedly fled after the incident but surrendered to the Don Carlos Municipal Police Station after several hours.
He is facing charges for reckless imprudence resulting in multiple homicide and damage to property.
He has yet to issue a statement, as of this writing.
