A teacher in Danao City, Cebu has apologized for a comment she made on social media against Palace Press Officer Claire Castro.
In her public apology, the teacher said she had no ill intentions toward Castro and that her comment was in response to one of Castro’s posts.
A netizen commented that the teacher should become a police officer and shoot Castro.
In response, the teacher said “Dili lang ko mamusil diya dam oi, aw pwede iyang simod.” (I won’t shoot her, but maybe in the lips.)
The comment was shared by a content creator who reposted it several times.
In her video apology, the teacher clarified that she was merely responding to a comment made by her friend.
She also appealed to the public to spare her children and family from negative comments.
