The top official of the Police Regional Office-Northern Mindanao (PRO-10) visits the wake of the slain radio broadcaster Juan “Johnny Walker” Jumalon in Barangay Don Bernardo A. Neri, Calamba, Misamis Occidental to extend his sympathies and vowed to ensure the safety of the bereaved family.

PRO-10 Director, Brigadier General Ricardo Layug also conducted an ocular inspection at the place where the victim was shot.

Jumalon was shot dead while doing his regular radio program inside the announcer’s booth.

The special investigation task group (SITG) “Jonny Walker” composed of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) and the local police also convened to discuss the development of the case.

“Kahapon lang po natin ipinakita ang computerized facial composite sketch at napakaganda po ng naging feedback sa amin marami na nagbigay ng information yun po ang amin ngayong iniexplore,” Layug said.
