Two schools in the Visayas and Mindanao regions made debut appearances to the list of top universities in Asia.
The University of San Carlos in Cebu City and the Mindanao State University Main Campus in Marawi City, Lanao del Sur are among four schools in the country which made debut appearances in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) University Rankings: Asia 2024. The other two are in Manila: Polytechnic University of the Philippines and Far Eastern University.
USC and MSU-Marawi are two of only 16 Philippine universities recognized by QS Asia University Rankings for 2024.
The standards of these higher learning institutions were affirmed as among the best in Asia based on academic and employer reputation and a range of other key indicators.
QS is a provider of services, analytics and insights to the global higher education sector.
